I grew Trinidad Moruga Scorpion peppers one year. I ate a whole fresh one.

I could literally feel it go from my mouth through my entire digestive system and out the other end. I knew where it was the entire time because of how much it was burning that area. It was quite a unique experience.

I also made Halloween candy out of it that year.
