As i was driving home from work tonight i saw a "shadow completely block out the moon, moments later the moon was visible entirely, the "shadow" did this multiple times blocking off sections of the moon and coming in from different angles. this was observed by my father who was in a different location...any idea on what this could be?

What were the shapes of the shadows, were they "perfect" shapes like the obvious roundness of an eclipse just in smaller sections or just prices of the moon blocked, could you see the light of the moon around what was blocking it bc it might just be clouds and you're retarded

its was a round shadow from what i could tell, couldnt see light from around the moon it was completely blocked out

Well to tell you the truth of it wasn't an eclips idk what to tell u, the moon isn't very big or far and eclipses don't last very long
