Do humans need meat?
>>8349854
No they need protein though
No, but we don't need spices either (unless you count salt.)
But I'm not gonna give up either one because they seriously enhance my quality of life.

Which doesn't have to come from meet.
>>8349942
Hence why I said no
>>8349946
Why even say though? It's irrelevant.
>>8349957
To explain how you don't need meat but do need protein
>>8349973
You can just say we don't need meat though. We need a lot of specific things, why not mention those too?
>>8349979
Because he didn't feel like mentioning them I guess?
>>8349983
Nonsensical

For you
Good thread so far.

No, you can get everything you need from a Vegan diet, it's just harder and needs more thinking. Flexivegan (eating vegan shit when possible, but oh well if not) is best desu. Also, doing something sustainable only when it's convenient is very much in the vein of human society.

i've been vegan for a year to test this shit out.
I don't think humans need meat. I'm the kind of person that used to fry up a lb of ground beef or something similar every single day and drink almost a gallon of milk.
I haven't lost any muscle, dont feel weird or weak or anything. At first I thought vegan was a meme and I was going to lose all my gains.
keep in mind this is purely anecdotal but right now I'm 6'1 160lb with low enough body fat to have a six pack.

is right.
this only works because I eat lots of oatmeal, peanut butter, chick peas, beans etc. If I didn't get adequate protein goodbye gains.
