Let's get another one of these going.

Just found this guy's channel today, he's got some neat content, I liked this one a lot:

Favorite channel right now, Applied Science. Some of the work this guy does blows my mind. This video is my favorite.

That covers a lot of I was having in mind.
Nice to see that actually the benefits and daily usage of it.
I will be using proper RFID implanting needle since it has bigger diameter and makes nice punch hole that doesn't require stitches.
You can even use surgical glue and not bother with the stitches at all since it is a small wound,he just took it too deep and messy with the scalpel.
For anesthetic you can use 2% Lidocaine in spray for, its cheap and will save you the whatever pain there it is.

Leonard Susskind's lectures are great. The statistical mechanics one was pretty fun:

Nice man. Where are you implanting it? Will you gold-plate the magnet as well? And yeah, superglue is awesome. I've had some big slices in my time, and cyanoacrylate glue works wonders. Way better than stitches if you can avoid them.

>Will you gold-plate the magnet as well?
I don't know.
There is was a talk at CCC and this girl successfully managed to implant it with hot glue so I may go that route on my first try.
Also for anyone considering doing this dont put it under a skin where tension is present while garbing or holding things.
I would imagine putting it on a dorsal location would work just as well with less risks.
Here is the link, its a good talk so I recommend watching it if you have the time.

There are better ways to learn new concepts and retain information than grinding through dry tomes. Textbooks are more useful a source of reference or memory refresher once the subject firmly rooted in your long-term memory.
Here are some fairly advanced series I have collected.
