Unsure how to apply integration by parts for this integral. Help me out?
>>>/hm/ for homework
Why are you thinking you should do integration by parts?
Also, don't do integration by parts here.
Reason why I believe I should be doing integration by parts is because the entire assignment was integration by parts. I will be using /hm/
/Thread
/hm/ is where I live now, someone send help.
U=r^3
dU=3r^2dr
dV=1/sqrt(25+r^2)dr
V=2rln(25+r^2)
Good luck

Or you can do trig substitution into parts or you can just set r^2=u, the numerator becomes ru, then dr=du/2x and you get (1/2)u/sqrt(25+u) which is a trig identity that seems a whole lot easier than parts.

Given the time of the year- did you just start this class?
If a professor is willing to put up with bullshit student whining it's a good idea for them to put integrals into homework that isn't the topic of the day or whatever. I do it with my less annoying classes. Integration by parts is weird here. It'll just end up being superfluous.
Also, fuck trig. Go straight u-substitution.
f(r)=r^2, and g'(r)=r/sqrt(25+r^2). You should be able to solve from here using integration by parts.

I got this with that method: 250/3 - 49/3(26)^0.5
Part 1: go to pic related
Part 2: let it solve the integral
Why people bother with this autistic shit when computers do it 1000x better and faster is beyond me.

http://www.integral-calculator.com/ pretty useful site.
Its not by parts, use trig subsitution if youre not sure how it turns out plug it in an online integral calculator to make sure you have the right answer

wolfram alpha can't do advanced integration techniques from complex analysis.
You're just a baby who thinks that every integration is a mixture of substitutions and integrations by parts
>trig substitution

It's trig sub. Use 5TanX

use trig sub instead
