Because most people who go for physics are brainlet teenagers that think they will be the next Einstein, when in fact 99.99% of them discover, in some point, they are just delusional losers and then they go on teach physics in public mid school or make popscience articles.

I think you have mistaken exclusively with arrogance. The people posting about physics on 4chan are not (for the most part) physicists. All but a few haven't even gotten their bachelor's degrees yet, if they even study it in the first place. Actual physicists are not full of themselves. They just speak in a language you don't understand and think is elitist.
