I did math in uni and sometimes it was just funny that you have some eccentric math professor coming out of his shell and telling a joke, even if it's bad it's a pleasant moment.

I had a professor for Algebra where he was fairly deadpan and straightforward. When giving lectures he would refer to mathematical objects as "dumb" and "stupid" and it was pretty funny, unintentionally so by him.
"So we got this dumb guy over here, and he forms an automorphism with this stupid thing here.". Nice guy. I liked that class.
