Are computers making us (humans) stupid?
I started using Habitica, OneNote and Anki but now I'm paranoid it's making me more stupid, I don't know why.

Did the wheel making humans stupid? What about the cotton gin? Point is, it's not making us stupid, but it is making us lazy.

If it's making us lazy, what are the non-lazy alternatives to software? Writing notes on paper?

it increased the likelihood of obesity though

Wheels and cotton gin have no ability to mechanize thought processes

Honestly after thinking about it a bit I think computers aren't "lazy" but it's what you choose it to be. Productivity applications like the ones I stated are designed to negate the laziness component that computers seem to instigate in us. Obviously if you spent time on 4chan you would be wasting time, but if you actually used time in Anki, learning equations, or in OneNote making notes, it would be helpful. On that note (pun intended), the question remains if taking digital notes is better than taking paper notes.. which I think the answer to that is a firm "no" - but I have no idea why.
