>TI-89 and TI-Nspire prohibited in this class
I have had classes where any calculator was prohibited
good. Only an idiot would use one of those instead of a turing complete machine.

>Using TI
I haven't used a graphing calculator since high school
TI-84 master race reporting in.
Been using the same calculator since the 6th grade.

>HP-50g is prohibited in this class.
>TI-89 allowed.
I'm going for either Biology or Chemisty, with plans to move onto Pharmacy School. I bought a TI-89 and it's not allowed in my lower level math classes. Should I hold onto it for future math or should I just sell it on craigslist?

You literally don't need it for studying math. You won't need a calculator at all in higher level math, a calculator doesn't help you write proofs.
TI-89 is for professionals like engineers, but most of them irl just use a scientific or MATLAB code for the heavy stuff.

The literal only place graphing calculators are useful are undergraduate math classes.
If you need to graph something past that, install R or Octave

Sell it and get a Casio FX115es+ or FX991ex
