/sci/ what is the physiology behind love?
What makes a person fall in love?
Are there any physiological steps or requirements to it?
Is there a formula that can tell why or how somebody finds the other attractive?
Self bump

Oxytocin is released during sexual intercourse (plus childbirth but obviously only with women.)

Is it the same amount of oxytocin released for every individual? Does different amounts release with different people? Does someone getting raped and not enjoying it still release oxytocin? If they dont enjoy it or fall in love with the person raping them, doesnt that mean oxytocin does nothinf? Because that still doesnt explain attraction between specific people and why some people like some people more than others and preferences etc.

Are you incapable of doing your own research?

So in other words, Science can not explain Love. Thank you for clearing that up.

Oxytocin is a versatile chemical that is released during a little bit of everything. Oxytocin itself cannot trigger pleasure, which is why people are wrong when they say love is oxytocin. It's a certain cocktail that's strengthened by sex.
Oxytocin has a lot to do with lust if I remember correctly so no, people who are raped don't feel it. It's a lot about the mood I think
