Can you help me understand the differences between the different economic courses/schools? Such as Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Finance, Actuary?

>economics
study of how an economy behaves in terms of its scarce resources with alternative uses
>business studies
this is so vague, who knows. it probably touches on principles of running a business, from marketing to economic demand.
>accounting
professional shekel counting
>finance
theory and methods surrounding investments. money math. think stock broker
>actuary
calculating risk for insurance policies

Which one do you think would be the most profitable right now?
>>8252008
none, they are all automatized
>>8252015
Then why are they still taught?

Economics is the interesting one that doesn't (necessarily) require advanced math but probably won't get you rich.
Actuary is the interesting one that does require advanced math and probably will get you rich.
Accounting, tedious, becoming automatized, don't bother.
Business studies is boring meme-tier garbage, and you'd literally have better career prospects with a philosophy degree.

You joke right?
>>8252100
No joke

They are still taught because people still pay to learn them.
