the problem is that almost every company expects 3+ years of experience and the other companies get more than 100 applications for every job offer, which makes it very unlikely to get the job

Jobs are easier to get if you're published/have done lots of research in your undergrad/graduate degrees.

But I totally understand this. Even with papers and research experience, it can still be extremely difficult. Easier if you have a doctorate though.

PhD thesis. Written 200 pages. Need to keep chugging along.
Also got a letters paper in mind but my supervisors wont let me get into it until I make more progress on the thesis.
