Why do we find furry things cute?

I don't, some are, some are not.
Because they have features similiar to babies.
>>8173840
Social constructs.

babies are furry?
>>8173844
but babies aren't cute
>>8173840
Bump, because I'd really like an answer to this as well.
I mean, babies don't have fur and are almost completely hairless. It actually seems like a bad thing from an evolutionary perspective, since we'd hesitate to hunt furry things.
Because fur smooths the silhouettes and forms of surfaces and things look soft and easier on the eyes.
>>8173840
because fur reminds you of an unshaved cunt

Furry things are delicious and comfortable and if we take them in and care for them enough to fatten them up, we can get more meat and clothes.

I find baby lizards cute. And ants too.
But kittens of course the most. Prolly because we wuz furry once, and are furless for relatively short time of our evolution.
You always feel most love for the species closer to you.
So mammals it would be.
I think it's because they are helpful

spiders can be cute too!

It was suggested the reason is that children are often given furry toys.
And that this in turn is the reason why tourists in Africa utterly fail to understand that furry animals are far from harmless.
