Is time real, or is it just a social construct that only exists within our brains to measure chain reactions in the universe?

>social construct
>only exists within our brains to measure chain reactions in the universe?
These are two different things, and no to both, see special relativity where the physics of fast-moving objects are significantly more accurately modeled when considering a temporal dimension in addition to the spacial dimensions.
>>8143364
Time is just a social construct you bigoted shitlord. Don't impose your temporalnormative standards on me.
>>8143364
d f(t) / dt is not always equal to zero.
Looks like time exist
EVERYTHING is a mental construct. Time is no different than any other measurement.

Fucking time hipsters
>>8143364
Time dialation has to be factored into GPS system calculations for GPS to be accurate. Gravity on earth effects time enough that it needs to be factored into the equation. So yea, time effects non-sentient signals sent to satilites. Its real.

'Social' construct?
>>8143364
Time is a 4-dimensional hypercube, which only appears to be moving because our brains are used to 3 spatial dimensions; but if we could interpret all 4 dimensions, we would see all of time and existence as a single, completely stationary 4D space-time hypercube.
Prove me wrong, """"""""""""scientists"""""""""""""
You're asking if the events would keep happening in an order without observers?
I would say yes.
Why wouldn't they?
Suppose that it is a construct: how would you justify planck time (that is, a limit)?

You forgot to change a board name...
>>8143600
>Time is a 4-dimensional hypercube
Lame b8
>>8143364
>social construct
This shit just makes me mad
>>8143364
>year 258 o wait time has not been invented yet.
>somewhere around Egypt.
>what if we all agree to change the position of our atoms and every time we do that we say that an iteration has passed?
>what would be the point? Can't we just stay frozen as we always did?
> how do you know you always did that?
And that is how civilization was born
>>8143459
agreed
it's a measurement, not a tangible thing, so if you consider measurements as real, then sure.
