How can absolute morons become so rich, while really smart people like scientists remain poor?
This is not just a modern phenomenon, it has persisted throughout human history. Does that mean being smart has less evolutionary importance than being a cunt?

I consider myself smart and I don't care much for money.

>How can absolute morons become so rich, while really smart people like scientists remain poor?
scientists usually dont focus their effort on doing things which make you rich in our society .while people who become rich do .
if you focus on becoming rich you are more likely to become rich then someone whose focus is the study of some scientific field .

>absolute morons become so rich

Nobel? If the scientist patents and captialises on a great invention he becomes super rich.
Theoretical scientists still make mad, albeit less, dosh through speaking fees, board of directorships, and university pay. IIRC Tao earns half a million a year as a professor.

Did you ever consider the possibility of them not wanting to be rich? The most inteligent people (ex paul erdos) didnt care about money or personal belongings.

Because you still believe in some mythological idea of smartness that lets anyone transcend any boundary and is a universal "ability" that both rich people and scientists should have.
