Ask for advice, give advice, cry and celebrate that you did or didn't get the place that you want.

How hard does ee get in the final years?

Anyone here doing enviro work? swiching majors after this year.
>>
>>8061757

sort of? i was in environmental science then dropped out for a couple years, moved around the country and now i'm majoring in geomatics. i think it's really interesting in any case. options are pretty open ended so "enviro work" is afterwards is totally an option depending on who you work for, though the opposite is also a possibility (resource extraction industries etc)

What do you guys think about the mechanical engineering program at San Jose State University in California?

What masters should I get afterwords? Where? I want to work for a firm for awhile, then start up my own manufacturing/fabricating business.

Can you even read?

I want the closest thing possible to a 4.0 in comp sci. How should I spend the summer to prepare myself?
>>
Anons do you know something about Russian CS?
>>
What direction (Master programme in this case) would you choose after completing Computing Science bachelor?
>>
>>8061836
How much experience do you have in CS at all? Do you know which uni you're going to?
>>
>>8061838
I don't know how it's right now, but a dozen or so years ago many qualifications issued by Rus universities were not even recognized in developed countries.

Surely depends on the uni, as even Poland has private business school fitting in the top 50 - 100, which is pretty respected in europe.

likely old midterms and finals for classes will be available somewhere, so look them up. what year are you in? first year CS is easy as fuck so that shouldn't be a problem, but it depends on how much previous knowledge you have, of course. here's the thing, though - don't get too wracked if you fail to meet your desired goal of 4.0, some classes are really tough and you'll just burn yourself out.
