Serious (Nasty) Question: Why own farts smell good?

probably something to do with gut bacteria or olfactory conditioning so we know when a gas is from our own ass and thus not horribly dangerous

na, but for serious discussion. I personally dont have an isue with breath or armpits (unless i use another brand of deodorant which makes me magically a garbage pail friend).

When i get a little bit smelly on those sources i immediately notice it and proceed to remove it, but farts my own at least, why i dont "like them" i can bear them.

Also the fact that lots of people "enjoy" them farts has been acknowledge countless time on pop culture.
