Quantify that. How long have they been "dead"?

I don't care about the content. I care about the qualified quantity of a concept I care about which may or may not be present in the content of that article.

It's for braindead people on life support.
Nothing surprising like bringing Leibniz back to life.
can anyone post TLDR I have to go to sleep but I'm interested in this subject

Ironically that makes it interesting enough for me to actually want to read it.

It sounds like the plot of a horror movie – but a new trial aims to regenerate the brains of dead people, by injecting them with stem cells.
A U.S. biotech company, Bioquark, has been granted permission to test its techniques on brain dead people on life support systems.
Dr Ira Pastor, the CEO of Bioquark Inc. said: ‘This represents the first trial of its kind and another step towards the eventual reversal of death in our lifetime.
‘We hope to see results within the first two to three months.
Researchers will inject brains with stem cells, and use lasers and nerve stimulation techniques which work on coma patients.
The trial participants will be certified brain dead and kept alive only through life support. After treatment, they’ll be monitored for several months.
The researchers hope that brain cells might regenerate, using processes seen in the animal kingdom in creatures like salamanders.
Should scientists bring the dead back to life?
Yeah, great idea
Isn't this what zombie films are about?
Dr Pastor said, ‘We just received approval for our first 20 subjects and we hope to start recruiting patients immediately from this first site – we are working with the hospital now to identify families where there may be a religious or medical barrier to organ donation.
‘To undertake such a complex initiative, we are combining biologic regenerative medicine tools with other existing medical devices typically used for stimulation of the central nervous system, in patients with other severe disorders of consciousness.’

>not triggering stem cell blooms from bone marrow
>not tricking the immune system into fixing it
It's just brain surgery, advanced.
