depending on what it is, that's a bad idea. Dumping any sort of biochem experiment down the drain means you'll get something growing in your pipes. Which is bad.

In these circumstances, the best method of disposal is dumping the liqoud in question into a ziploc bag filled with cat litter, which will absorb it. Then it can be safely thrown away to become someone else's problem

No, not from a dumpster. The factory shut down, and they were cleaning it out for the longest time, this and a few other things were still there, in a closet when I went there.

3M Green pad cleans most stains off ceramics including glass.

This, if it was used to make meth, it was probably used to make hydriodic acid, in which case that is polymerized crap you'll have to scrape and chisel out.

If it doesn't come off with any standard solvents, it most likely wont come off during any typical reactions you run, and you wot have to worry. However if you're that concerned you can soak it in sulfonic acid for a while...

I'm not in a research field, and am more or less sitting here with a pile of glassware and assorted machines. I have a decent autoclave, so worst comes to worst, I can sanitize. That's about it.

Base bath for a few days yo
I'm a fan of the KOH/IPA varieties
If still not clean, piranha solution
Make sure you've rinsed with lots of water between base bath soak and piranha solution treatment
Add piranha solution a few drops at a time, swirl, repeat till clean.

You should try water, alcohol, acid, DMF, concentrated sulfuric and nitric acid. Be carefull with the last two, it can react REALLY fast. Read about conc acids first.

Also I use DMF/methanol/conc HCl 2:2:1 in case of unknown shit on glassware. Just let it stay for day or two and then wash with water or anything.
