You attempt to be facetious, but you're actually right, It does.
There is nothing mediocre about cutting, shaping, transporting (sometimes many miles down the Nile) and finally moving into place a block that weighs 2.5 tons using rudimentary bronze age tools and techniques. Let alone 2.3 million of them.
