Terrorism's role in history is almost completely the story of people reacting to terrorists. Terrorist groups have almost never had the power or influence to directly control global politics, and the outcomes of the reactions to terrorism are generally just an acceleration of whatever the powerful already wanted. So it's more of an excuse than a driver.

And despite what some people here seems to think, "SJW"s aren't really some kind of Illuminati group. They're the mirror image of fucking /pol/ - a small group of angry kids who've adopted a political idea they don't understand as a guiding life principal, then used it as an excuse to start internet fights and feel superior to others.
Their political influence is piss in the wind.
