reproduction is unlikely to be a random pick bewteen parts of parent DNA strings with a bit of mutation. experiences in life have effects on a persons genetic structure, the more impactful the experience the greater the change of the person's DNA. it only makes sense that an organisms ability to pass on more accurately pruned genetic code would emerge in the process of natural selection.

Proteins have to have specific chain sequence of AAs to work as they do. Because of Secondary Protein Structure reasons.
