On /sci/ anything that isn't a maths or physics degree is considered a meme degree.

Only by maths or physics majors. Do your part to make /sci/ great again. Post more threads relevant to other fields of science.

No is not meme degree. For us necessary help of software engineers at doing building R2D2 and C-3PO for economical and defense purposes.
Well, someone have to get education for making shitty programs and insecure systems

If you want to live a comfy life, working 9-5 and the such, then it is an okay degree. Altough if you are Americuck I woudn't endebt myself for a se degree, instead learn it on the side of some stem or finance/buisness degree.

I remember that chem thread. OP had posted an 'inb4 chem isn't science' which just invited all the shitposters. I don't remember the other threads, but it is unfortunate if they really got shitposted to death. I think it depends a lot on luck, on whether real sci posters are lurking or just the feynman wannabes. I really hope we get some /bio/ or /chem/ generals like some time ago. I think we should just post relevant threads and hope they don't get shitposted, be as discreet as possible. Sad that /sci/ has gotten to this state desu...
