Can you learn trig in 8 hours?
Yes. Go do it.
can you learn solid mechanics in one hour

There, done.

Yes, if 14 year olds can learn it quick, you can do it even more efficient and quicker assuming you're 18+. Make use of the right triangle in circle meme a lot.

8 hours spaced out over a week, comfortably learn the basics that's taught in high school. The entirety of trig? No.
If you mean crammed into 8 hours in one day, then you're an idiot for getting yourself into a predicament that requires you to do that. It's unlikely you'll retain much of it. The human brain isn't efficient at learning like that.

What is a standard trig course?

Top kek.
no, you're fucked
have fun failing, lazyfaggot
x^2+y^2=r^2
sin^2(theta)+cos^2(theta)=1
soh cah toa
there u go

No, it took me around 16 hours to master high school level, and another 36 hours to completely learn all of the undergrad material. There is still a lot more to trig I have never covered.
I have met some smarter people who could probably do it in half that, but doubt they would bother compressing it like I did as it was grueling.
Far better to pace yourself and learn it in a few months.

You can learn trig in eight minutes.
[math]\cos (x)=\frac{e^{ix}+e^{-ix}}{2}[/math]
[math]\sin (x)=\frac{e^{ix}-e^{-ix}}{2i}[/math]
Here, you learn it in two minutes.
[math]\cos (x)=\frac{e^{ix}+e^{-ix}}{2}[/math]
[math]\sin (x)=\frac{e^{ix}-e^{-ix}}{2i}[/math]

Fucking identities man.
Will have to take it next semester.
Thanks for the advice though.

Equilaterial, Isoceles, Scalene. Read through the wikipedia page on sin, cos, and tan, then use a dictionary for words that you don't know yet. Congrats you've just surpassed the requirements for high school math, which do not extend beyond basic algebra and consider trigonometry a college discipline.
Why do people think trigonometry is a "field" of mathematics?
Geometry yes, algebra of course, analysis and topology uhuh without a doubt.
Why isn't trigonometry just called "Geometry 2: Triangle Theory" or some shit?

it's the study of circles and rotations dumbass

yup triangle angle = 90 degrees

Kek, apart from trig functions, we covered trigonometrt in middle school here in Switzerland.
the square of a hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the square of the two adjacent sides
