I'm looking for a way to get from
[eqn]\mu\frac{\partial^2X}{\partial t^2}+EI\frac{\partial^4X}{\partial x^4}=0[/eqn]
to
[eqn]L^4\frac{\partial^2K}{\partial t^2}+T^2\frac{\partial^4K}{\partial x^4}=0[/eqn]
where X is displacement, and K curvature. Also do you know how to add non-linear terms to that eqaution?
