Is cryptology the most autistic division of math? I mean how can someone crack a simple message like "XY12076RDLNAKQT34262118MCGZOVFSUHE21814514JWPBI" without tapping into the powers of pure distilled autism and not give up after 2 minutes.

Git gud, pleb faggot.
It's not like they're actually "translating" it in their heads or anything
Also it's not what cryptologists do
>>7811581
Cryptologists don't crack codes?
>>7811825
cryptologists make codes and examine the theory behind their encryption to find vulnerabilities
>>7811906
Fair enough. What's a code cracker called? Is a cryptologist the same as a cryptographer?
>>7811938
A "code cracker" is someone called a cryptoanalyst, i.e. someone trying to find vulnerabilities in existing cryptosystems.
>>7811938
a code cracker is what black coders call white coders
>>7811448
There's a method to it. If you have to follow a set method to go forwards to make the code there must be a method to go backwards and break the code. Yeah I used to think it was autistic rainmen staring at codes until they "just saw it" but no it's practice and training just like everything else in life.

A large enough brain can compensate that, like, everything u see is related and u just search for it.
