Not me. First of these threads i've seen, other threads always include American fucktard schools. And I agree with your list with the addition of ENS Ulm and Uni of Warwick.

I'm literally just listing what a professional website ranked them as

That website is v. bad though. It misses uni's like ENS, Bonn, ETHZ, Gottingen (although not awfully good anymore), St Andrews, Bristol, Warwick etc

I say why don't you "bugger off", you're lucky you get to post here

No, they don't "belong to America". They are private institutions with billions of dollars endowment. Don't act like you're part of that.

Is Maths & Philosophy a valuable degree?
>>

Depends where at and what your intentions are.
Which uni are you looking to do it at?
And if you want to go into research then it might be ideal, especially if you have an interest in logic. Apart from that, it doesn't really equip you with much employability seeing as they are both two "pure" subjects. However, they can compliment eachother rather well, but I'd say the math compliments the philosophy more than the philosophy compliments the math.

surprised not to see the Ecole Normale Superiore...
> Daily reminder it's the school who formed the highest number of Fields medallists

I have a few options. If I decide to go to the UK, then St Andrews, Kings, or UCL.
If I decide to stay in France then I'll do a Preparatory Class in Maths and try to integrate a good school like ENS, and specialise in Philosophy (easier said than done tbqhh)
The latter seems like the most sensible answer as Philosophy is generally regarded as better taught in France than in England, but living in the UK for a while is exciting to me (especially if I get into St Andrews. Scotland, man.)

Intentions? I don't really know. Research seems fine.

All of the schools mentioned on your list are very good (with the exception of KCL which has a very poor math program although I hear okay things about their philosophy course).
ENS is very good for math, but that goes without saying. As for the British schools, St Andrews has a nicer math program than UCL (in my opinion) and they allow you to study 2 subjects for your first 2 years (which would allow you to study philosophy) whereas at UCL you would have to do straight math for 3 years. AFAIK UCL don't even offer a Math and Philosophy degree.

But yeah, St Andrews is v. good school (especially for philosophy) and so is ENS for math.

Philosophy is not especially better taught in FR, UK or US. Only difference might be in the litterary prep schools, but I'm really not sure this way to teach philosophy is the good way : basically, you prepare for the contest during 2 years.

On the other side, math is certainly taught the hardcore way (and the good way) in France... Be aware that success is probably waaaay easier in a math undergrad at Oxbridge than in a random french prep school.
