>i know mediocre multi-variable calculus and mediocre linear algebra

continue being you but with a focus on stats
I think you've got the mediocrity thing nailed tbqh
>>7760588
the thing is, i'd have to take a class on it. but i want to learn it by myself. is there a set of notes or problems for idiots or something like that
hehe
just take a stats class. it's super fucking easy, and that's coming from someone who is less than mediocre at calc.
Pirate SPSS and then use websites such as explorable. I'm not sure if you actually want to learn the math or just get answers. https://explorable.com/independent-one-sample-t-test
youre going to want to go to a uni and either take a legitimate probability course or find some kind of hybrid course that mixes low-level probability and upper level stats

>less than mediocre at calc

Anon, copy pasting your teachers code into R does not make you good at statistics.

naw, it's just how my brain works. like how i'm a fuckin ace at chem, but suck dicks at physics. don't ask me why, i don't know.
>>7761254
because chemistry is rote memorisation till babys first organic
>>7761266
>implying babbys first organic isn't largely rote memorization too
