Can anyone point me to the science behind this stuff? Papers on the process to make it/general ideas behind it. It seems super interesting.
not really sure what you're looking for specifically

Above is a fairly typical example of what LID research looks like

It's got holes.

This looks fantastic, except it costs 36$. Is it possible you could point me to a resource that doesn't have a paywall (a tall order I know, I apologize).

Basically all I can suggest is farting around on google scholar.
If you're a uni student I'm sure you could browse databases through your library web page

different aggregate ratios for the concrete mix.
You'd probably have to repave that shit annually. Looks weak as fuck.
What happens when the ground becomes saturated and the water doesn't disperse, or erodes/causes uneven ground beneath the concrete and causes the concreat to split apart?

Cool demo, but I wonder how it holds up. The rate of diffusion is so quick that it leads me to believe that the pore size is fairly large. I wonder how it does in the cold, since water is allowed to move more freely through it. Maybe cracking isn't as bad.

>Make promotional video of your shitty product that falls apart over nothing at all
>some of it falls apart just by dumping water on it
>leave that in the video, no one will notice right?

Will it survive winter?
Yes, we want more sinkholes.
Seems like the pores would get clogged up pretty fast.

lye can fix that right quick.

>make a marketing video about your product
>what music do you want faam?
JUST
Back in pre-history, when people cared, concrete had falls to culverts that drained to collectors that had things called 'oil separators' in. The clean run-off then drained to streams/sinks etc. It prevented something we used to call pollution from contaminating the environment generally.
