Given the amount of poverty, famine, murder, and rape there are in the world, I'm not sure you want to take the position that we live in a nice one. We're getting better, and many of us have the luxury of first-world living above the poverty line, but if a god came down and said that you were going to be randomly reborn somewhere in the world, you should be very afraid, because the world can be a very scary place outside your house or outside your country You could be born a female Afghan and want to go to school, in which case you might have a bad time if you don't enjoy acid on your face. You also might be born in Seoul, the great South Korean (SK fun fact: 10th highest suicide rate in the world) city that could be totally obliterated in a very short amount of time with the amount of conventional weapons that North Korea has aimed at it 24/7. Do you know the amount of people I have talked to that say that we should just destroy North Korea and the loss of Seoul and its near 10 Million population of innocent civilians is worth it? The amount is shocking. I've told people the number that would probably die, and received genuine responses of "well yeah people die in war". It's amazing. What's even better, is that you can be born into a nice place in the US and still hate life so much that you off yourself. Suicide is around the 10th leading cause of death in the US; seems like being born into awful conditions just manages to mask the reality that is clear when born into supposedly good ones: the world is just a bad place to live, with very few exceptions.
And if this god happens to say you might also be reborn as an animal, then you should just run because holy shit you are fucked.

Wtf me too, just very recently, I've been vegetarian for years but want to stop half-assing it. Also NEET, the thought of doing something I don't want to be doing from 9-5, 5 days a week makes me physically ill.

Well meat is no problem for me since I've been vegetarian for most of my life. Eggs are tough because I've based the main food I like to make for like the last two years on a strong base of eggs and potatoes.
Milk though was like 100% the easiest thing ever because the brand of soymilk I get tastes way better than cow milk, and I never really cared for cow's milk anyway. Cheese wasn't tough to remove from my home, but I still sometimes go for it if I am eating out, which I try to do as rarely as possible because it's cheaper + more fun to make my own food.
What kind of tea do you like? I used to drink a lot of hot tea, but lately I've been super busy and neglecting my tea life. With cold tea, though, I like to buy unsweetened black and add just a little bit of juice to it to give it a subtle sweetness.

Other person here: I'm not a NEET, but I understand where you're coming from. I would not be able to stand a 9 to 5 as like a waiter or any kind of job like that. I am lucky to be in Academia right now, which, despite being profoundly stressful at times, I'd rather be in than not, money or no. I neet'd it up from May 2015 to May 2016, and I really got into a bad place because of it. I'm still digging myself out of that pit.
Note, I'm not making this post to be like "go into academia" or something, just sharing my experience.
