enjoy your empty, scrolling dream worlds with a few random things scattered across the landscape and a single image floating in the background, lacking any real map
>>5713918

you cant
do ay have a tris on my dubs?
>>5714447
-surrealism that isnt forced
-loneliness
-eerie shit
-some things that are actually unsettling
-madotsuki is better
>>5714447
how about le fact that it was designed by 1 brilliant mind (kikiyamers) leading to some sense of coherency as opposed to each dream world being made by a different fugging person lole
and the girl is much more kawaii (picture is related)

I wouldn't expect a normie to derive any enjoyment out of it or be able to appreciate the greater complex message of the game

I don't know about you, but I don't often dream of walking through a world of grey and purple blocks that form random shapes and there being some Aztec drawing floating in the background.

I don't know about you, but the imagery contained within my dreams is often far too complex to be emulated by a video game. I'm sure everyone's is to some degree, but I've seen some shit I can't even begin to describe. It's always some sort of enormous structure I'm left to explore, whether it be a giant tower, a huge glass structure, an impossibly large tree, or an entire town during a meteor shower (only the meteors are actually striking the earth all around instead of burning up)
Very often the building I'm in in my dreams change as I go through the same hallway multiple times.
Honestly I just see this game as a way to explore landscapes of surreal pixel art with interesting sounds and music. That's all it is. An interactive art form. And a fun game too, I guess.
I miss Yume Nikki
