In terms of possibilities, yes you can as long as you have clear path throught which to look in the sun direction and the capacity to see and move your body/head/eyes to position yourself.

Apart from that you'll get several injuries in your eyes due to the sun emiting a lot of energy directly without protection. That's what is known as naked eye and there are several gizmos to work around this issue.
