Nothing beats a fresh ripefig.
Oldfigs are in my opinion way too sweet, in turn becoming a hazard to my wellbeing and fitness.
Not to mention, the 'just around sweet enough' ripefigs quite rarely contain any wasps in them, whereas the sugary caloric bomb that a ripefig is usually pulls in wasps
by the dosen.
Newfigs, on the other hand, are bitter, hard, Sour and their nutritional value is close to nonexistant. IF ANY OF YOU DARE TO EVEN REGARD NEWFIGS AS PROPER FIGS, OR CHANS EVEN, THEY DESERVE A GOOD HANGING.
Still, as Newfigs are biologically closer to the ripefig genome, even though they have no fig value whatsoever in their current state, they are incredibly needful and valuable if given the right contitions to 'spread their wings', so to speak.
