My vision of 4chan structure is:
Secret financier* → Robert "moot" Bopkins** → Swaglord*** → unknown administrator team**** → "moot" (fake) / "Hiro"***** → moderators → janitors → pass users/users (→ W.T. Snacks******)

* - unconfirmed existence, real relationship, motivation unknown; extremely sensitive topic, all mentions removed from search engines
** - current status unknown
*** - lead content architect, also maintains outside contacts
**** - mentioned in "moot"'s interview about leaving 4chan
***** - PR agent, "face" of 4chan, replacement was likely done for tax and legal reasons (scapegoat)
****** - forced into code slavery despite of having a penchant for electronic music, started (and maintains to this day) weekly Midnight Snacks broadcast. Most likely freed a few years ago.
