I'd recommend it. But I feel like, well alright YOU might not feel like this, but it feels like I can't enjoy anything after watching it. You might not feel like this 'cuz different strokes for different folks but gosh is it THAT good (for me anyway) and I've watched quite a few animes and visual novlels.

Well I'd also recommend Akage no anne, Ashita no Joe, Gunbuster, Cromartie High, Azumanga, Clannad... You probably watched the last three anyway.... Those are good.

Space Adventure Cobra. It's beautiful, fun, and you'll know within 10 minutes whether you like it or if it's not your thing. If you like it, I would recommend getting the best quality release you can find - it's worth it.

Y'know what you've made me realize something. Sure nothing will ever dig as deep into my heart as Doremi but there's still all sorts of categories it didn't prevail in. Like animation or coolness or action... Emotionally though, Doremi wins hands-down.


Anyway I'd recommend Xabungle too. Also Votoms if you haven't yet watched it.

I've seen pretty much what you have, plus Xabungle (I just finished Gainer the other day). It's as if Tomino has one story that he keeps trying to tell, and I've gotten to enjoy that story over time. I think Xabungle is probably the best incarnation of that story I've seen so far.

Also, in case you haven't seen LoGH, you should consider it.

I haven't seen them myself. They're in a small list of stuff that I'm really, really sure I'll like, but I don't want to watch right now because then it will be gone, you know? G-Gundam's there, the Dirty Pair movies/OVAs are there, half of Lupin III's there, Yamato and Giant Robo were there until I watched them, etc.

I really messed up with VOTOMs, personally. I thought I'd never want to watch it, so I violated production order and watched Mellowlink. Sure, there may have been some minor, incidental spoilers, but now every time I try to watch VOTOMS I just keep thinking I want more Mellowlink instead.
