can someone on this funny board please explain to me the act of prayer. i was raised without religion, only receiving christian knowledge through popular culture such as episodes of The Simpsons.

No, I meant you shouldn't ask for too many personal things. Y'know, like "god pls help me with this job interview" or "god pls make it snow so I can stay home tomorrow"
