one of the worst things about reddit is the plastic mass produced nature of memes

I'm triggered every time I have to go to imgur to look at some picture. The wretched thing forces "top" on the sidebar and it's always DUMPS of regurgitated memes. Why? Why are they upvoted so much? You'd think that a massive repost that also makes your mousewheel burn deserves only a massive negative karma.

The best memes used to be made by SA and 2ch. But the entry fee was too high. Tenbux on the former, advanced knowledge of Japanese language, customs and modern culture for the latter. No one just bothers with them anymore in these quick-paced times. And let's not kid ourselves, SA isn't even a shadow of its former self.

Umm, nice quads, but downvote. Just posting offensive stuff will get us banned from the Internet. OR there will be a massive campaign that will shun the last few OC creators that we have, which is a fate worse than death.

We have to be subversive instead. If normies want to steal our memes, we won't stop them, they will find a way. What we have to understand is that memes are our Trojan horse to a normie mind. Through carefully fabricated memes we could plant many dangerous, harmful concepts into their thinking. An obvious example drug abuse and driving under influence.

However, care should be taken to cover a broad range of normie activities and introducing danger into them. An example above won't work on normies who don't drive and use other means of transit, or on those pesky "dank memester" facebook kids who inject marijuana and might have better risk awareness related to it. Thus they need to be given something different that they could mentally justify as "rad" or "bee's knees".
