What you're favorite code editor,[ s4s]?
I'm partial to GNU nano and I can't stand people who require extra features, like bracket auto-matching, and auto-complete.
It's featureful, yet doesn't let you go overboard so you don't get distracted by the prospect of scripting your text editor.
Write real programs instead.
sublime text hands down
eclipse because i'm a professional and not a meme-tier millennial

vis ( http://repo.or.cz/vis.git ). I can't take Emacs' absurd startup time and bizarre bugs (using the client-server model in 24+ requires all of your clients to use the same color-theme - what?), and vim's codebase is a nightmare.
All I really want is an editor that allows me to assign different colors to comments and literal strings, and which allows me to pipe selections through arbitrary programs. Everything else is superfluous, but vis has some very useful features, like multiple selections and some commands inspired by plan 9's sam.

Dreamweaver
-because when the tough gets going, and you juggle 6 languages over 40 sites with paying clientele, you need the best and the fastest.
Real pros think the Atom, Brackets, Notepad++ stuff is cute, but Dreamweaver is the constantly updated, adaptable, paying-pro, multisite go-to tool.

If you just type out code for your own doing, fine. But true developers gotta code back end and front end (JS, Angular, PHP-renders, Python, SASS, {LESS} ) and see what it looks like fast, before uploading, Dw is constantly being upgraded to accommodate all these new formats. When it gets down and dirty, Dw's a beast.
is sublime just a meme

I can't stand people who need a text editor to program.
I just write it on a piece of paper to not get distracted by pointless features. Then I compile it by running it through a laminator.
