I just finished the second season so I don't know everything but I can't tell you that being aimed at a young audience doesn't make it less entertaining, and while being a light hearted story about friendship and magic it also deals with a lot of mature issues like death, depression etc so you'll be thinking a lot "how the fuck did this get into a kid's show?" and you'll also be moved to tears a few times
the number of episodes stops being a problem if you come to like the show, just try watching and you can stop anytime if it's not for you

Yeah it's not like I'd completely dismiss it just because of its G rating, it's just that there are certain american shows that are aimed at young kids that certain faggots watch. I guess nips are better than that though. The show looks pretty kawaii.
