This is a serious announcement regarding unchecked dubs.

Unchecked dubs/gets is a growing problem in the [s4s] community.
According to recent studies, at least 10% of all gets remains unchecked, a number that gets increasingly larger every day.

Here's a few FAQs about checking dubs:

► What can you do to help reduce these terrible figures?

1. If you see unchecked dubs, check 'em.
2. If you think someone is deliberately ignoring unchecked dubs, confront them about it.
3. Install the "[s4s] Enhancer" to your browser ( Link: https://greasyfork.org/scripts/3329-s4s-enhancer )

► What if a #rude poster gets dubs?

This is a good time to use the sage function. Simply reply to the thread and acknowledge the GET, but with "sage" in the Options field.
That way the rude post won't be bumped to the top of the page, and the poster might even learn a lesson about the importance of checking dubs, and not being rude.

► Why is checking dubs so important?
Good question! Dubs is, and always has been a part of [s4s]'s culture.
If we let it fade away, we've lost a significant part of what DEFINES the board.

Remember, nobody should EVER have to check their own dubs.
