This thread is for discussion of "the new religion"
Should be coming out soon. I predict around 2020, but that's based on a hunch.
Features of the new religion:
- it's probably going to be global
- it will be very comfy and nice (probably)
- there may be a eugenics element to it
- it will probably feel just right for each individual who practices it (meaning that each individual's way of practicing/observing the new religion will be different, but perfect for the individual
- it will probably be something like monotheism, except that it's the worship of a specific archetype or ideal
- it will be based on reason, facts, evidence; science will be an integral part "the method of science; the aim of religion"
- it will probably show up first in California
- California will split off from the United States and become an island
As you can see this is all speculation. Feel free to correct me on anything if you know I'm wrong.
Some questions:
- how will we recognize the new religion?
- what will be some of its symbols and rituals?
