Nice dubs. I can't see how you can get that from the remaining letters though. I'm assuming they may have taken some letters. Idk when the picture was taken but the prices don't make sense, although I don't know why they'd vandalize those as well.

OK I think I've figured it out!!!!1 Partially.

avocados
3-organic onions
I can't make sense of the prices still, those are messed up but the 1- and 3- have to be bcuz the second item takes up two lines.
lrgeags has all the letters for "large" leaving just gs. It makes sense that the word large would already be there so what kind of avocado has "gs" in it??? Hass avocados are common but no G. "organic" has a lot of the same letters as vaginas, but has no S... I can't see where they got another S.

OK I don't think the avocados could not have been organic bc then they wouldn't have needed to steal an N from onions. The vandal wouldn't unnecessarily move letters around.
My clues are the avocados have G and S in their description and they don't have I, V, A or N, else the vandal wouldn't have needed to borrow those letters. Any ideas?

OK so here is where I'm conflicted.
"large eggs" is possible for the second line. That way they only took a few letters. Supporting this is there isn't enough extra room on the sign for many missing letters. Contradicting this is the numbering on the left. The 3- only makes sense if it was on the original. If it were four items it doesn't make sense for the vandal to move the 3- down, and avocados is left spaced on the third line, which makes me strongly believe it has to be the second line in a missing 2-
So I'm thinking it was
1- strawberries
2- large hass
avocadoes (their misspelling)
3- organic onions
The vandal must have gotten an extra G from somewhere, and they messed with the prices too. Maybe they were a disgruntled employee and had some extra letters and numbers on hand but didn't bother bringing I, V, A or N up there to mess up the sign.
Why they apparently changed the prices on the other lines is beyond me. "Strawberries 2 3 00" makes no sense and neither does "avocados 3 99" so they did something there.
I'm concluding the vandalized line was most likely "large hass avocados" originally.
