hey arnold for example was squeaky clean but has segments that are emotionally heavy. sure ren n stimpy was gross but we still laughed at it - unless you're a sissy

i'm not saying i dislike ren & stimpy, what i'm saying is that as an 8 year old I wasn't really able to fully understand what was happening in that show, and i was just enterained by the craziness of it. but as an adult I can watch it and be like what the fuck this is some disturbing shit happening between two talking animals, and see that it does insanity in a very authentic way

yes i enjoy the freewheeling and imaginative style of Joe Murray. I love how expressive the characters are. I also love the admittedly crude humor of John Kricfalusi in Ren and Stimpy. I love when he brings the animation to fixate on detail and texture. Is anybody a fan of Gary Baseman's style? I love the way he draws eyes and mouths.
