Things are going pretty well. I'm kinda hungover and feeling weird, and I had a really strange conversation with my brother earlier that kind of screwed me up.

It would totally help if i had any, but alas... No the conversation wasn't exactly fucked up, it was just weird. Basically we lost our mother in 2009, and my dad started dating again a few years later, and he's been with that woman for like 5 years or something, and he finally got engaged and he's getting remarried. So he called me earlier to tell me the news and I was like congrats happy to hear it. I thought it was a good thing to hear. Then my brother called me a few hours later and was like what the fuck dude dad's getting remarried that's pretty weird and I had this whole conversation with him like what are you talking about why is this weird? and he wouldn't really answer me but I finally got him to be like "Dude now he's going to give her all his money" and I was like ohhh you're a faggot now. I mean, I am not expecting anything from him when he dies and i'm not like eagerly awaiting to be left something in a will or whatever, but apparently my brother was counting on that in some way? It just made me be like what the fuck are you doing. I thought about it some more and I kind of understand why he would thinkin like that but I still think it's totally ridiculous and I kind of lost some respect for him when he said that, you know. It's my brother though so I can't get rid of him. Oh well. Thanks for reading my blogpost.

I know my brother well enough and I'm pretty sure his concern about money is coming from his wife. Which is a whole other thing. The whole thing was just really disappointing. I talked to my friend about it and he's known my brother since they were 8 and he was kind of shocked by it too. We decided that I should just encourage my dad to spend all of his money so he has none left to give my brother. It seems like a pretty good plan

Even if I encouraged my father to wantonly spend all of his money, he wouldn't. He's a pretty pragmatic person. The thing with my brother's wife is weird. He can be easily influenced and since she's very concerned with money he probably just went along with that.
