actually it's not really dangerous
what's truly dangerous is the Diamine (H4N2) because of the unstable geometry and oxidization levels (remember N usually takes NOX -3 and hydrogen between +1 or -1.)
in this case, nitrogen takes oxidization -2 which is highly unstable. So there's a free slot to bond with whatever organic substance or aerosol is available.

Usually it is very toxic and volatile colorless liquid. Generally, extended exposure leads to loss of smell. Blindless is rare since you'll probably close your eyes due to irritability.

you wanna see some really cool crystals?
try bismuth, they're relatively cheap and you can make them with pepto-bismol.
and it's nice.
It's safe too since the half life of bismuth is like almost the age of the universe.

ebay has tons of bismuth crystals.
it's really easy to come by and there's tons of sites out there.
depending on the size, it goes for like $5 to $200
usually $15 samples are fine
