Post your favorite threads from today and why you like them so much and we can talk about 4chan threads on s4s and why we like them so much.
Personal submission: >>4968642 , I think it has some really interesting layers in there, I've never heard of "houndogs" before in a meme context, and I love seeing out of place stuff that's not a reference to anything but just sounds so ironic that it has meme potential, I feel like that's the point of s4s; making memes out of garbage like that.

good choice
I struggled to pick an image for the crossdressed Stitch. I initially chose the opening of ``Lolita'' with a crossdress Stitch image. But then I thought, what if someone is looking at my search history and sees ``crossdress'' next to a gallery of image search results that includes many children? The thought disturbed me, and I decided not to use the image I had saved from deviantArt.
I went back to the thread and pasted the quote from ``Lolita'', editing it out to replace Lolita with Stitch. Then I went back to my image search results and scrolled all the way down. Upon reaching the end I clicked the button that loads more results. But seeing all those little kids combined with the mental image ``fire of my loins'' disturbed me further. I switched the tab back to [s4s] and selected the image I had chosen earlier.
After I hit submit I realized I was not the first reply and regretted spending so much time selecting the image. If I had just gone with my first choice then I would have gotten the first reply.
I also felt uneasy about the placement of ``Stitch'' in the quote from Lolita. The quote ends with a broken-up pronunciation of the name Lolita with its three syllables. Earlier I had even inserted a hyphen between Sti and tch but had removed it. After seeing my final uneditable post I considered whether the post may have been better if I had removed the first ``Stitch'' at the beginning and just added it onto the end. In the original quote the Lolita and the beginning and the Lolita at the end are different because the secondary Lolita is that broken-up one. In my version the Stitch was the same on both sides. I feel it needed some kind of difference to reflect the change that had occurred in the Stitch character. He was looking down at the dress and seemed to ponder it, and a different narrative structure would have led the reader to ponder it as well.
I can't help but feel that my choices were wrong because you did not mention my reply in your OP.
Your fortune: Outlook good

Apologies ben (can I call you ben?), I meant to simply highlight what I thought to be the best aspect of the thread. From start to finish I believe the both the initial post, and your reply were quite good choices, but not thread defining tier.
