The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks tonight as Earth passes through the tail of comet Swift-Tuttle. Get outside between midnight and sunrise on August 11-13th and look towards the Perseus constellation (Northeast) to see the display.

We're expected to get a huge burst either tonight or tomorrow. You could be lucky enough to see as many as 200 meteors per hour! That's a fuckload of wishes, anons.

You will probably have difficulty seeing anything but the largest of meteors if you live in a bright city or if the moon is still overhead. However, you can also watch the shower via NASA's livestream of the event, which should start around 10pm.
