people think I don't understand the intricacies at play in cowe threads. Yes, it's clearly a piglet thus it's association with a cow is patently absurd which gives the post a certain comedic effect. The misspelling of the word is intended to portray the poster as illiterate or uneducated. One who mistakes a pig for a bovine creature certainly couldn't spell the name of the animal, this gives the post an implicit credibility, subtly adding to this meme's brilliant and ornate sensibilities in regards to humor. Another striking aspect of this meme is the association with a vaguely similar animal, this is a method of humor seen frequently on s4s, the walruse meme is a paragon of this technique, as it's blatantly clear the photo depicts a seal and not a walrus. Both animals are pinnipeds, semi-aquatic marine mammals, but the distinction between the two is observably clear. But it is conceivable that a particularly mentally challenged individual would mistake the two. This is a method of humor on s4s I refer to as, 'false perceptual association.'
