Hello! I have been doing some research into the phenomenon of "doubles" and I have found something quite astounding! Take the post "@4235266" for instance.. this is our traditional model of the "double." HOWEVER, I am proposing today that these are in fact not doubles, but SINGLE doubles. TRUE doubles require two sets of repeating consecutive digits, or the DOUBLE DOUBLE, if you will.
A recent example of this phenomena would be post "@4435266".. as you can see, the digit itself is prefaced with beautiful recurring quadelas, and ending with the magnificent (and my favorite) hexeltas. Some might question this model of dubbing, stating that there are in fact still singles, and there is also in fact a SINGLE TRUE DOUBLE however this is where things get real juicy boys..
Here I will present the PRISTINE DOUBLE.
Examples: post "@112233", post "@224488", post "@995533"
Aren't they beautiful?
Sure, the argument could continue -- one might state that this is in fact still just a singular PRISTINE DOUBLE -- and they would be right. However, everything in life is singular, we all live in the moment, this moment is singular and nothing doubular about it will ever be. That's why these numerals are so special and why the true essence of the sport must be kept in PRISTINE (winks) condition.
For clarity, have this list of every PRISTINE DOUBLE up to 110011
11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 1100, 1122, 1133, 1144, 1155, 1166, 1177, 1188, 1199, 2200, 2211, 2233, 2244, 2255, 2266, 2277, 2288, 2299, 3300, 3311, 3322, 3344, 3355, 3366, 3377, 3388, 3399, 4400, 4411, 4422, 4433, 4455, 4466, 4477, 4488, 4499, 5500, 5511, 5522, 5533, 5544, 5566, 5577, 5588, 5599, 6600, 6611, 6622, 6633, 6644, 6655, 6677, 6688, 6699, 7700, 7711, 7722, 7733, 7744, 7755, 7766, 7788, 7799, 8800, 8811, 8822, 8833, 8844, 8855, 8866, 8877, 8899, 9900, 9911, 9922, 9933, 9944, 9955, 9966, 9977, 9988, 110011

no, theres still a single 3 in there. All the numbers have to be contained in doubles to be a true Pristine Double.
As of now, the age of Pristine Doubles has passed, and there will not be another one until after the 10,000,000 get. One could argue having a triple would qualify as a Pristine Double (eg 4445566), but I disagree.
