How does the porn industry deal with pregnancy?

Sure, they can insist that the chick is on birth control and the guy can even wear a rubber, but pregnancies can still occur.

And my understanding is that a woman can not legally sign away a man’s responsibility for a child that is proven to be his (unless the baby is adopted) and if the child is his, then he’s on the hook for 18+ years of child support.

So what’s to prevent a female porn star from demanding child support from a male co-star who got her pregnant?

Citation? Because this is a legal issue of the _kid’s_ rights and not the mother’s.

Now a single mom can choose not to pursue the father for child support but the child’s right to child support cannot be signed away by the mom and the kid (once they’re 18) can sue for unpaid child support.
